Brad Bird is an American film director, animator, screenwriter, producer, and voice actor. He has had a career spanning forty years in both animation and live-action. He directed the 1999 film The Iron Giant, and then wrote and directed Pixar’s The Incredibles and Ratatouille; they twice earned him the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, and Best Original Screenplay nominations.
Brad was born in Kalispell, Montana, the youngest of four children of Marjorie A. and Philip Cullen Bird.
